Óscar Romerocollege 2 – Society and Wellbeing is part of a large school in Dendermonde, offering primary and secondary education (general, technical, and vocational). The secondary school consists of different campuses and departments for students aged 14-19 yrs old, based upon field of interest.There is also a separate dpt for the 12-14 yrs old, a center for Learning & Working and a department for foreign-language newcomers.
Our institution focuses on high-quality education for all, regardless of background and abilities, offering guidance and support based upon students’ needs and talents. The department Society and Wellbeing offers classes in Human, Health & Social Sciences and Day Caring and has appr. 600 students and 100 staff. Dendermonde is a small city in an urbanized region in Flanders and most of our students come from villages in the surroundings.
